Inmes IM-3 underpinner

Post by John Andreae »

Can anyne who uses one of these give it a good recommendation as joining high quality professional standard mitres. I am starting a framing business and want to make sure I buy adequate but not too costly equipment to start out with. I originally bought a Logan Pro joiner that I now realise lives up to its description of being hobby tool.

Any comments/experiences would be handy.

Thanks

John

Being a fairly new product to the UK, you may find it difficult to get very much feedback as it has not been around as long as many other manufacturers products and there may be relatively few owners of these on the forum.

How about asking Lion (the UK supplier for Inmes), if they have one on show at their headquarters and if you can visit and try it for yourself.

Price is only one parameter to consider when buying an underpinner. Have a good look at it's capabilities and how well it will satisfy your actual needs and expectations.

And I suggest that you try it out for yourself too. It's the only way!

Hi John,
If you give Lion in Birmingham a ring and let them know when you will be going along they will arrange for you to give the IM-3 a good work out.Hopefully you will be impressed how versatile the machine is.

On my travels I see Inmes popping up all over Europe
Distributors speak well of them and place repeat orders so they must be OK

I have visited distributors and framers in 90 countries - no two are the same.
