Lion Framer's Event - October
The next Lion Framer's Event will be held in our Birmingham warehouse on Sunday, October 17th, 11 - 4.
We are arranging an eclectic mix of active framing training, specialist seminars and open discussion groups. There will be extra emphasis on the business aspects of frame shops and galleries.
We expect to present some interesting surprises.
Refreshments will be served from 1 and we've arranged extra parking. And, it's all free.
Make a note in your diary now. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Thanks, Martin. It's in my diary.
Makes me wonder if it's about time we started planning the next Forum Event.

LION Framer's Event
Birmingham, Sunday October 17th, 11 - 5
Good to read that you're all coming, and there's space for more.
The list of specialists, seminar leaders and demonstrators is steadily growing. We now need a marquee on the forecourt.
Full list will be posted here shortly. Send a note to: toni@lionpic.co.uk to tell us that you are coming along - it helps us plan the catering and ensures that we have enough goody bags.

Re: Lion Framer's Event - October - HOUSE FULL
House Full
We've had an unprecedented level of interest in our Lion Framer's Event to be held this Sunday, October 17th, 10.30 - 4. We now have over 330 framers and galleries who've emailed us to say that they are coming along. So, if you check our website, you'll see that we've posted the 'House Full' sign.
When you do get here, you'll see that we've created a meeting place for Framers Forum members. Go up the stairs to the equipment demo on the mezzanine and it's on the right.
Doors will be open from 10am, and the seminars start at 11. Parking may be a problem and you'll be guided when you enter Garrison Street.
We all look forward to welcoming you on Sunday.

If anyone arriving at Birmingham Airport Sunday morning would like a lift into Lion I'll be going past about 9:20 and will happily pick up 3 of you.
PM me if you're interested and we can arrange a meeting point in one of the terminals.
Paul

Re: Lion Framer's Event - October
It's north of Watford!stcstc wrote:bleeding birmingham is not north!!!!!!!
I was brought up in London and quickly learned that anywhere north of Watford was "up north". Once they opened the M1 some people would venture as far as Watford Gap which was clearly so-named because it was the opening to the great wilderness of the "Far North". I don't think I knew anyone who ventured past Watford Gap without a full survival kit - and of those that did, I'm not sure how many returned to tell the tale.
