Re: Inmes wedges
Martin I appreciate that commercial decisions have caused you to remove Cassese products from your range but I still think your wording is misleading. "Lion has discontinued stocking Cassese wedges" rather than "Cassese wedges have been discontinued" would be the whole truth. Chr...

Re: Inmes wedges
Lion are saying that Cassesse wedges have been discontinued. Bit misleading in my oppinion, suggests that they are no longer manufactured but I 'm guessing they just mean Lion have discontinued stocking them?

Re: Long rolled up photograph
Steve, no I don't have any pressing equipment but would welcome your description on how such a machine would be used in this case especially in relation to hot vs cold. Maybe something I should be thinking of adding to my workshop?

Long rolled up photograph
I've a very long photograpth of a mountain range in to frame at the moment which has spent some time roll up in a relatively small tube. Result is the paper has taken on a wavy appearance when unrolled. I've had it between two pieces of mountboard the top one weighted with limited success, any othe ...

Problems cutting ash on a Morso
Attempting to chop a length of very hard ash moulding on a Morso with recently sharpend blades I found that the rebate seemed to cut more than than the non rebate part of the wood. This resulted in a mitre with a gap where the rebates should mate up. Trimmimg each end indidually a small amount with ...

Re: Framing counter covering
I've just switched to a piece of lino, an offcut I got from a local flooring shop. It's non slip, has a little give but not too much, easily wiped down or swept, no fibres to get onto anything.

Safe storage of customers' artwork
I'd appreciate some advice on the best methods to keep customers' artwork, photos and so safely stored whilst they await framing. I've been looking at Artsafe folders but they only go up to A3. I've also thought about comstructing some wooden 'folders' using two pieces of hardboard taped together al...

Underpinning sloping mouldings
When underpining a 2 inch sloping moulding using a Cassesse I'm finding the plunger is not making sufficient contact with the slope causing a slight gap on the moulding face although the underside is fine.
Any ideas?

Morso surface rust
My Morso, which is in a workshop, does develop a very light coating of rust on on its bare metal surfaces when not used for a week or so (it is covered during this time). I was wondering how to prevent this, I don't want to coat in oil as this will get onto the mouldings? Any suggestions appreciated...

Morso adjustment
I've recently taken delivery of a second hand Morso but this did not come with an instruction manual and I believe the factory is on a summer shutdown. So can someone tell me what adjustments are available and the correct method for fitting blades. The reason: I'm finding that the last 'sliver' cut ...
