Re: Heavily Coated Mouldings- Problems
Thanks to all this who replied. Interestingly most, if not all replies, related to the chipping problem. There's a problem with steering a customer away from one of these coated mouldings when they are trying to match work they've had done elsewhere as is the case with the 2 customers who want it. I'...

Heavily Coated Mouldings- Problems
Has anyone got any suggestions for a) mitreing and b) joining mouldings which have a thick coating of brittle paint/finish. Wessex WF136 typifies the material. Doesn't matter if I use the Morso with very fine cuts or the Brevitti saw on a painfully slow feed, chipping still sometimes occur . I've ev...

I would like to see if there would be any interest in forming a closed group of Gunnar users, particularly the F1 Hybrid, to share experiences and work arounds.

Gunnar F1 Hybrid - 1 year on
I purchased my machine just over a year ago and wanted to share my experience with the forum of the help and support given me by the UK Gunnar team, particularly David Jarvis who is my main contact. Like most small businesses I work any time of the day 7 days a week and David recognises this in his ...

Re: fine art reproduction
Thank you for your replys. I'm afraid they appear to be photographically centric. I have no problem reproducing photography, at the end of the day the colour rendering output is purely subjective. My issue is with fine art reproduction where the it is easy to compare the original with the finished o...

fine art reproduction
I wonder if there is anyone who has experience of setting up colour profiles using the x-rite eye one extreme kit or even colour profiling in general. I'm interested in obtaining the best possible results for fine art reproduction. Unlike printing photographs it is possible to compare the finished p...

Situation Vacant
We are located just off the A303 where Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset meet. We are looking fully qualified/experienced framer, initially the position would be part time, perhaps it would suit someone wishing to semi retire. We have a very well equiped workshop and not afraid to invest further. Hours...
