I dont know that much about the Trucut CMC, but I would imagine any company displaying their products at a Trade Show would have their machinery be it CMC,s underpinners, saws, or whatever else their trying to sell, that it would be checked and double checked before the doors of the show hall opened ...

I think its a design problem with the rebate support itself, it seems to work perfect on some profiles but on others it digs into the moulding like Steve said.
The use of grease would not help with the problem only make it worse, as it would hold onto any dirt and clog the groove where the supports ...

Its ok buying a second hand cassese underpiner and saving some money. But having to get it shiped to the Lebanon is going to eat into any savings you make in buying second hand.

Maybe it could end up cheaper in buyiing a new model in the Lebanon.

On the Hotpress site theres a printout that gives a breakdown of the finishing costs of finishing costs of heatseal / drymount , and also pressure activated laminates / adhesive boards.

Its dated 2006, so its over a year old now.

I got a Gunnar also, it was bought new about 2 years ago. It arrived on a Friday and was left unopened until Monday when Sarah from Gunnar arrived, she set up the cmc, installed the software on the computer, registered it, and checked to see if it was cutting ok.

It might be faster if you get a external hard drive and transfer anything you dont need on the C drive and burn it at a later stage.

I got a copy of SPT32, on this laptop and tried it. I entered the measurments of a rectangle with outside cut.
If you click on the screen it will vanish, you have to hit enter and then it will stay on the screen, then you can move on and add another figure or open intelli layer etc ...

I like Ormond can't really fault the Gunnar software. Its easy to use, even if you never turned on a computer before, and is updated around twice a year.
Pool mode is another bonus, even if you dont use it that often.

As for mouldings, as you know you have Sisslings, but also Argent Mouldings , AMD Mouldings and Glenwood Mouldings are based in the Dublin area.

Scopas are in Kilkenny. Arqadia are UK based but the have an Irish Rep.
