I remember a commercial that aired here for a while, that had a guy tell his wife he was finished. I wonder if anyone could ever do this? Guess it would be impossible to see more than a few hundred before there were a few hundred added in the same time. Kind of makes you think...is it flat or round?...

That is quite a dashing finish. It is very unique. There is a company in the states that does finishes of this nature in length moulding. Roma makes some nice stuff, but I am sure this is better.

Nice looking.

Jim Miller on the Grumble is possible going to teach a class on this. I am very interested in learning more about these. I tend to think junk, but I want to learn. The finishes I have seen as of late look good, so what the heck.

My pops used to get upset and send us, me and my siblings, to bed. He would follow us up and tell us, Put your face in the Pillow!!! So we did. We lay flat on our bellies and put our faces straight in the pillow. We found out years later we would basically pass out. We always woke up a bit woozy. I ...

I tend to agree with the other posters. This is poor. It makes a customer think you do shoddy work or do not stand behind your product. Framing can be hard, but if it wasn't everyone would do it. So tell this bloke to suck it up and get to working. Or tell him you will give him a stack of business c...

I think I am going to shoot myself for doing that, I could only beat Siggy on the Two Hour Sessions...Did anyone beat him on the impossible one?

My hands feel bad, it took me about ten minutes to beat him, I don't think I will be typing on here for a few days.

I tend to like the single sided blades. Over here we have to thicknesses for blades, 1500 or .1500 then the other is 1200 or .1200 I am not sure what measurement is used. I like the later blade. They are thinner and go thru most mats better, specially if you are using mounts that are double thick-ei...

Robo do you use glue, atg, or the Lineco Metal tape for doing your fillets? There are varying opinions on this. I tend to go with the Lineco on Archival work that is not of hgh value. If it is run on the mill poster art, then I may use glue and ATG-1/4 inch or 4mm (iam trying here???) high tact. PL

Do you have a CMC? If so you could cut some hearts that fit in readymade frames, or scrap frames. You could try to push something like get a frame of you and your honey for Valentines day. Forget the flowers they shall pass but a framed photo will last a lifetime.

As long as the openings are of the same size on the mount you should have no issue. The problem arises when the dimensions are not uniform across the mount. When you flip the mount it can be a bit confusing. The mount is flipped instead of marking your left on the left side, it is actually on the ri...

Hey there folks across the Pond

I just wanted to say hi. I am here because Mr. Roboframer told me to come and take a look. Well I see that it is a bit slower here than the grumble. That place people tend to be a bit crazy some days. Well it will be nice to visit a site that is tamer. I will try to keep up on discussion, but if I h...
