I have a Charnwood M3 Manual Underpinner over in Dundee... Decent bit of machinery to get going with (includes a load of boxes of V Nails (hard & Softwood)) but if you have the capability and funds I would always recommend pneumatic. I used this underpinner myself for a couple of years ...

having problems with the foot pedal on my underpinner.. wondering if anyone knows of a refurb kit for the solenoid valve in the foot pedal or anywhere that would stock a replacement valve without having to buy a whole new pedal and housing
