At the moment I have something to finish with paint that the customer is bringing in (it's to match the doors or something). It's a chalk pa...

Re: Wood staining advice required

Why would I need to add a wax etc afterwards? The hand finishing side of things is something I'd like to introduce b...

I have two, the one for the CMC is emits a hum when filling the larger one (faulty one) can be loud - but at the same time it's only for 1-2mins in the morning and a few 10-20 secs of refilling throughout the day so I don't think the volume would be a real issue for me. Our wo...

Compressor Replacement ideas?

Hi Our Bambi PT50 compressor is dying and to replace it seems to be around the £1000 mark. Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement. It's currently with a local repair shop but I'm not sure how that's going to end. In hindsight I suppose we should have something as a backup for times like this. I...

Based on that photo my first guess would be that you've got the wedge too close to the outside edge

There's a local bar getting a full refurb, they came in recently looking about 60-70 little things framed, varying colours in mounts and mouldings. Needless to say I could have kissed him, I have that much stuff that I've kept over the years, I was on the verge of dumping the lot recently but I'm gl...
