Re: Another Mystery Moulding

Hi Glimpse,

Thank you, that looks like a very similar style and colour. I'll see if I can get a sample from Lion. It is only 59mm wide but my size was a guess anyway.

Any other guesses/offers would still be welcome :-)

Another Mystery Moulding

I don't know what it is but my customers seem to think I'm a moulding mastermind? "Can you match this one?" Just a photo, no measurements and they have gone away for a fortnight! Gold frame example.jpg Does anyone recognise it and know the supplier? Any help gratefully received. Many thank...

Re: Looking for a Moulding - Mission Impossible?

Thanks for the suggestions Jerome and Jo. Yes Jo still alive and well in sunny Tandragee and back from the Betty Ford clinic after having Skype addiction fixed. Had a quick look at the Lopez site. Handy that it provides sizes and profiles but not seeing anything after a quick inspection. I'll take a...

Looking for a Moulding - Mission Impossible?

Hi Framing Fiends or Friends (choose what you will) :) I have been asked to find a moulding or something similar to match a series of family photo frames for a customer. From my own research I would guess it is now extinct but it is always worth asking the framing gurus who inhabit this online world...

Re: This year I MUST get my Logo on my car !

Hi John, I love the Pelicans and they are certainly a great price at only $950! I guess I'll have to wait for my birthday and hope somebody buys it for me:-) I did post about our name back in pre-history and here is the link http://theframersforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8507&p=70721&hi...

Re: Mystery Object

Great answer and thanks to everyone who made suggestions, although some were not quite what I expected but I have to tip my hat to you Tudor Rose :-) As for JM and his photo, glad I didn't post a photo of two together because goodness knows what would have been suggested. They have a hole in the end...

Mystery Object

I have had my mystery object around the workshop for years and it has travelled with us through two change of premises. Problem is I have no idea what it is but I don't want to throw it away in case it is an important doofer dingle! Mystery object.jpg Does anyone else have one and know what it is? R...

Re: This year I MUST get my Logo on my car !

We have had our's done for a couple of years now and people coming in have noticed it as it drives around. It also has details on the back of the car. It didn't cost mega bucks and is always there for potential customers to see. Now if only I can get around to putting something similar on our Kangoo...

Re: Looking for this moulding

Sometimes finishing off a story can be forgotten in the joy of having found what you were looking for. I found pretty much exactly what I was looking for from an Irish company called Glenwood Mouldings in Wicklow. They very quickly posted me out a sample so that we could check for sure and my custom...

Re: Looking for this moulding

I contacted my local Arqadia rep and he made the same suggestion as Robo, so he is sending me a sample in order for the customer to compare it with the frames he has. Many thanks Myles.

Apart from this Arqadia moulding does anyone have any alternative suggestions?

It is certainly close Robo but it is a lighter gold. It may do as a suggested alternative. Thanks for the suggestion.

Looking for this moulding

Hello kind, generous, helpful Framers Forum members, Can you tell I'm after something? I am looking to identify the moulding shown in the attached photograph because I have been asked by a customer to try and match it as near as possible for a new frame to be displayed with more of the same. PMcA co...
