Re: Poppy Display Cases
Yes, I personally would not want to show certificates and would want it in vertical format, but we've just responded to what people have asked for. The one I was really surprised at is the one below with dark wood base and green felt. I personally wasn't going to make that one available, but did it ...

Re: Poppy in a box
Apologies I'd seen the reference to there being a poppy display thread and just thought this would be the thread to post boxes on. Now that I look again it is a bit spammy which wasn't my intention, so apologies. My comment on the original photo - it's beautiful, and shows the benefit of using a goo...

Re: Poppy Display Cases
I think it depends what people want - it's just an option that provides a 180 degree view. Some of the framing I've seen (some on here) are absolutely outstanding, but it's horses for courses. We've done some where we just provide the acrylic case with mounting holes and the framer mounts it on boar...

@Roboframer
Museum grade is acrylic with special treatment that filters between 98 and 99% of UV rays (depending on the manufacturer). It's still not recommended to display an item in direct sunlight, but it helps a great deal.

Re: Construction method of Glass box / case ?
I realise it may not be every framer's cup of tea, but for any of you interested, a lot of framers buy ready made acrylic cases from us. We have a standard range, but also different formats for bespoke projects, and can manufacture to your exact drawings / requirements if needed. We can make them wi...

Re: Greetings from Barry @ Dream Keepers Display Products
The impression we get is that there are all sorts of framers who use our products in different ways for 3D display. Some buy them as a retail product and simply re-sell. Some buy the acrylic only and make their own bases. Quite a few use our bespoke service and specify their own dimensions, sometime...

Re: What is an acrylic claw please?
We already do stuff like in the photos, so he possibly didn't mean those.
I think it was supposed to be something made to look like a hand was holding the items.

What is an acrylic claw please?
We had a framer call in on us once, and he said something about an acrylic claw being a really useful item for display, possibly necklaces, ear-rings but maybe something else.
I've since forgotten who it was and not been able to work out what one is.
Any ideas?

Re: Brass Plaque Suppliers
Hi, we supply plaques to a lot of picture framers from as little as £3.72 plus VAT and delivery. I'm not sure how to place an ad on this site, so forgive the little sales pitch here: With our High Technology Personalised Plaques the possibilities are endless to give a stunning the perfect finishing ...

Re: Greetings from Barry @ Dream Keepers Display Products
Thanks topcat, very kind of you.
We're a bit biased but we love what we do, and believe it's the best value product out there.
The website is a bit of a work in progress, and anyone who is a picture framer will get trade prices, not the ones on the website - just ask.
