Software for shapes,layout and spacing.
Having a very visual brain I'm the first to admit I'm not good with numbers. I have a nasty habit of reading them and then my brain transposes them. So.. I then write them down or put them onto a piece of equipment (as the famous Morcombe and Wise scene says) with all the right numbers just not ...

Re: Keencut system 4000
Thanks all I will give the old wheel a spin as suggested and alos ask keencut about the wheel in the black nylon holder so see if an exchange would be possible into my white holder. I cannot use my bench for cutting as ony have the one so space is at a premium.

Keencut system 4000
I have a problem with Keencut. They appear to have left me high and dry with a perfectly good sheet material cutter the system 4000 but no longer sell the spare glass cutting wheel. I have managed to buy one from Framers Equipment but that is it, one of the last in stock. How can a whole machine ...

Football boots reversible framing
I have been tasked with faming two pairs of football boots in separate frames along with 3 photographs each. The customer has requested the fixings to be reversible. They are modern Nike football boots seemingly made out of one piece of moulded synthetic material with no where very much to attach ...

Yes I use Wessex so I’ll order from there. I’ve dealt with Keencut a lot so didn’t think outside the box and look elsewhere. Thanks

Keencut 4000 glass cutting wheel
Does anyone have any of the white t/c glass cutting wheels for a Keencut 4000 CA50-018 to sell? You now have to buy them in packets of 5 which is expensive when one has lasted me years. Happy to share purchase if anyone else wants one.

What is the EXTRAS for?
Hi John,
We wondering what the EXTRA is for. It brings up an option to add items on a drop down list but without a value. How do you add things to this list and have more than one item? What is it used for?
Thank you, Nicole

Add an additional moulding
Is it possible to add additional mouldings such as where they are stacked or maybe a stretcher bar and a frame. We have added the stretcher bars manually in the moulding list as stock as they were not in the moulding ID list (Wessex).

Re: Drymounting or selfadhesive board
Great advicw evveryone and I love reading all the asides and extra info around the subject. I decided to go down the drymount path purely for the size of this photograph. However I have bought some self adhesive board and will use this next time.

Drymounting or selfadhesive board
I have a photograph 90cm x 60cm which my customer insists after framing will hang in a conservatory (not in direst sun I was assured). I have persuaded them to have conservation clear 99% glass and a mount but I’m not quite sure how to deal with the photograph? It’s not flat so considered dry ...
