Nobex Champion Mitre Saw

Hi folks, this is the last of my framing kit up for sale. Nobex Champion Mitre Saw £50 (new: costs upwards of £130) Exceptionally accurate (to within plus/minus 0.08MM) and stable mitre/compound mitre saw. Cuts superb mitres, and can handle cutting depths electric mitre saws can’t (to over 7 inches)...

Underpinner now has an ebay bid, so I can't sell it 'direct' on here.

Morso & Framers Corner M3 Underpinner for sale

Hi All, As I said on the main forum, sadly framing is not for me - and so my gear has to go. I've listed it on ebay, as they sent me an offer that capped the sale fees at £5 (the offer expires in 2 days, so I had to go for it). However, I would happily let any Framers Forum member have first dibs - ...

Goodbye all & a huge thank you

Good morning everyone, Not sure whether many on here will remember me, as I haven't posted for a long while. Basically, I came on here for advice on how to start as a framer - and everyone was extremely generous with their advice. I can't think of any other chat room/forum where people are so genuin...

May I ask why?

Not trying to be contrarian or argumentative......just curious as to why you think it's inferior.

Re: Second hand point gun

You're absolutely right; and if it conks out quickly, it'll be no bargain at all (like you say, time will tell). I realise there's a reason why the Fletchers are £75 quid and this one is £22.....the former is the mutt's nuts and proven! But for where I am, I thought it'd be worth a go. Considered th...

Re: Second hand point gun

Did you get one, Dave?

I just got a brand new Framers Corner gun for £28 delivered, inc 2500 points.

Metal construction, takes flexis or rigid, and you can alter the oomph easily for different mouldings.

I'm chuffed with it.

Framing to hang in a bathroom

Hi All, Are there any techniques / precautions you'd take when a customer says a finished job will hang in their bathroom? I realise that if it's a very steamy room, no amount of precautions would really affect the outcome. But if, say, there was a bit of moisture about from baths and showers, are t...
