Hi, I figure this would not be a typical method for a backing but for a shadow box i built, I used a foam board backing covered in a Tartan. There were holes in the backing I had cut out to inset, photos and memorabilia. I had trouble on the corners and now they kind of look rounded instead of crisp...

image.jpeg New member here. Just wanted to post the medals shadow box I created from the bottom up. Probably didn't save a lot compared to taking it to a professional, but I am quite proud of the results nonetheless. Every flaw is mine. Even the blood stains hiding in the finish. Lol.
