Estlite unable to establish an internet connection

Has anyone had this problem when trying to update the table of suppliers? I have a Dell Inspiron with no firewall enable or virus protection running and I can't get Estlite to get online to download suppliers or prices! It will connect and check for updates with no problem but fails beyond this.

Edwardian prints

I am trying to source some black and white prints depicting Edwardian characters wearing ruffs shown in an oval aperture with pillars and scrolls. A shot in the dark I know but anyone with any links would be very welcome...

Starter salary?

Can anyone give me some pointers as to how much to pay an unexperienced part timer working only 2 days a week. Does salary scale increase when she has completed courses? Thanks.

Now that I have removed the little posts from the supports, their movement is even more restricted! However, I have found the perfect answer. Find this item in eBay! # 9731950694 Teflon Mouse Tape same as Glidz Pad Surfers and Skatez and stick it along the site edges of your rebate supports. Burnish...

Introducing a Mular or DuraLar barrier as well as using barrier board sounds like the best I can offer the client. Can you recommend a retailer for either and does it come with a pressure sensitive adhesive on one/both sides?

Acidity barrier

A client brought in a watercolour with a mount which was positive when tested for acidity. She wants to keep the mount which is decorated with various lines and a wash. I offered to imitate the wash and lines on a new Cotton Core or Artique mount but to keep costs down I wondered if by placing a pie...

Problem with my Size!

No, I'm quite happy with that 'size' thank you!... ...the problem is with choosing which leaf Size to use. I'm currently using KOLNER PERMACOLL SIZE CLEAR which instructs you to wait from 1 hour to 2 days before applying the leaf. I waited 1 1/2 hours and the leaf bond wasn't great leaving gap...

Mark, how much Ox Gall should you use for the average wash line (about 1 tablespoon of liquid) - a couple of drops? Never heard of the stuff to be honest and would love to know who thought it would be a good idea to use the contents of a cow's gall bladder to paint with!!? :?

I framed 16 hand tied flies for a wedding present. The flies were arranged in rows with the title under each on a small 'reverse bevel' card using a period font like Edwardian Script. The flies were tied onto light green suedette using two pieces of black cotton; one around the 'eye' and one around ...

Rebate Support annoyance!

Can anyone tell me the purpose of the highlighted 'knob' on my Morso's Rebate Supports? and how do I get rid of the blessed things? I've tried tapping them out and unscrewing them but they won't budge! All they do is snag the backside of the rebate and prevent the supports from sliding smoothly apar...

Are there only two choices for the Advanced GCF, Textiles and Mount Design & Function, or are there more?

Does the latter take in Mount Lines, Washes etc.? If so I would definitely be interested. I think a course in Hand Painted frames and simple gilding would be a good one to incorporate.

It's one of their regular mouldings, not Larson Juhl and I've been told that their whole batch in the bin looks the same.
