Re: Morso help please
Thank you all very much for all the tips, I’ll work through them ! And also stick the newly sharpened ones back on when they come back next week …. If all that doesn’t work then I’ll sell a kidney and buy some new blades

Are the bottom set ok to be like this or should they really be straight ? See photo

Edinburgh/ Lothian area - any framing suppliers?
Hi
As Ashworth and Thompson have unfortunately closed - is there any other suppliers in the area if I’m just needing the odd bit of weird coloured mountboard so I can just go and pickup ?
Thanks in advance

Re: Best product or method to fill holes on bare frame ?
Thanks for the response
It had been glued and joined with v nails .The holes are just from the clamps
I would be liming it after it was filled - otherwise the filled holes would be really noticeable 🤷♀️
I can match wood filler to the wood that’s not the problem - I’m looking for a solution to the ...

Best product or method to fill holes on bare frame ?
Hi
I have a frame that I wanted to just lime and wax but I needed to clamp the corners so now I have the small holes - I know I can just fill these with wood filler ( osmo ) but then the lime looks odd on those sections , is there anything better to plug the holes with then lime ?
Thanks in advance

Re: hardboard backing for canvas
Any reason not to just paint on board ? Then you can just frame the board.
I paint on marine ply ( few layers of gesso first obviously) I find it a better surface than canvas but each up their own

Re: Picture framing insurance
Me again - so I went to actually start policy with hiscox but apparently they don’t cover the work whilst you are actually working on it ? Is that the norm ?
. They weren’t very helpful so I’m confused about the terminology of what I should actually be asking for .
