I haven't posted for a while and had to temporarily close the business for a few months, just waking up to realization that I'm living on borrowed time with my Cassesse CS199 : ( Now there's no rescue plan for Cassesse and spare parts will not be manufactured as I understand,I'm just waiting for the...

HOW TO TAKE A DEPOSIT IN ESTLITE....

Could John or an EstLite user who ACTUALLY TAKES DEPOSITS and does this in EstLite give me a nudge in right direction please ? In over 10 years of use I have never taken deposits, on reflection, that was a BAD idea... Now.. very interested in doing so but want to show payments recieved ( which I don...

Re: PROBLEM -downloaded Suppliers tables in March 2022

I won't be giving you loads of examples but just checked another one from Simons , S2-13 , my system showing 2019 price for this, £1.64 , latest price should be £1.80. Not a big problem in the overall scheme of things, just want to be sure it's correct ongoing, I haven't checked LION yet, just wonde...

PROBLEM -downloaded Suppliers tables in March 2022

Hi, when I can remember, I click on the "Download Suppliers Moulding Tables" button on the Suppliers Tab to update prices but I think I'm doing something wrong. Against "My Suppliers", Lion, Simons & Wessex, I can see "Last Price Upd." shows Mar-22. Alan from Simons...

Re: OOPS ! Deleted customer of 10 years ...

Thanks for the detailed replies John, just to reassure you, I certainly didn't click on the new Delete Cust button, even I would have spotted the 4 warnings : ) Up until a month ago I was using an older version of Estlite, I guess there was an easier way to delete a customer record in the Customer s...

OOPS ! Deleted customer of 10 years ...

Hi, I've no idea quite how I did it but I must have accidentally deleted my 87 year old artist friend from my system, with 10 years of records still floating around but without a customer associated with them. It's not the end of the world , just a shame really, I'm running version 9.08, I've only j...

Time for a break ....

Only a week or two before this all kicked off, I was feeling pretty run down and thought to myself, I could really do with shutting up for 3-4 months , clearing my backlog and recharging the batteries... Careful what you wish for ... :Slap: I work alone from home so don't have the responsibilities a...

Anyone still use one of these ??

Just found this in the loft, bought it years ago when I was a newbie to framing, it's really for fixing glass in window frames but I used to use it to fit backboards in, I think I might start using it again once I've oiled it. It uses the 13mm triangles I think ( have looked in LION catalogue) no jo...

Attaching silver teaspoons... but detachable for cleaning

Can anyone help me on a Monday morning ? Discontinued moulding on ESTLITE

Hi, I've never had to do this before, I have some discontinued moulding that I don't want to delete from the table but I do want to flag it up that it's no longer available. I ticked the discontinued box ( below ) and tried to see what happens when I enter frame details, how do I know it's discontin...

Re: SUMUP Credit Card Reader

I use iZettle and am very happy with it. The fees are 1.75% of the transaction and no monthly fees. The card reader sits on a very neat stand which was included and I actually get a lot of customers commenting on how stylish this setup looks. Out of interest, do you have to pay a different rate for...

SUMUP Credit Card Reader

About this time every year, I give some serious thought to getting a Card Reader, the latest one I'm considering is SumUp, no monthly charges and a fixed fee of 1.69% on all cards, apparently ....

Is anyone using SumUp in anger and are you happy with it ?
Thanks in advance,
Adam/Bagpuss
