Gielle 4000E For Sale
No longer used as we work with our MG4 day to day - this is just sitting around! Bought about 18 months ago when we started up and served us well as a first machine. All working. Supplied with 7 & 10mm wedges, extension arms and wooden stand on wheels (crude but works!). Note damage to intake pr...

Re: Fletcher tab gun - repairable?
Does this help?
I was able to buy a repair kit - can't remember exactly what was in it though...
Video shows disassembly and reassembly of the gun.
Hope this helps.

Re: Keencut Ultimat Futura Advice
We got our new Futura 1200 a few weeks ago. Checked it today after seeing this post, and yes, we are also out by 1mm at the 900 mark. As it happens I had a call today from Keencut on another unrelated matter so I mentioned this. It is a known issue with recent printed scales. They are addressing it ...

Far Sale - Logan Framers Edge 650 Mount Cutter
Logan Graphics Framers Edge 650 Mount Cutter for sale (40 1/2"). We bought this almost a year ago, second hand, to use in our art shop. Since then we have started offering a bespoke picture framing service and the machine was used almost daily. We've upgraded to a new KeenCut, so this machine ...

Re: A+P+F expo
Can't compare to previous years as this was our first expo, and although it was small, we found it very useful.
Met a few people, had some useful chats & demos, and now have an expensive list of kit I want to buy...
Glad we went

Re: Using an underpinner - or not...
Thanks all for your input & thoughts.
I originally, and naively!, assumed the underpinner would be a magic wand. Of course not - just another tool to be used in the right circumstances!

Using an underpinner - or not...
Just a general topic for discussion rather then a specific question, but thought I'd throw it out there. We've only been framing about 6 months (as a business service), but picked up a Gielle underpinner with our Morso. My initial, naive view was just buy moulding, cut with Morso, then glue and unde...

Yes - thought of that. Just after building the frames!
Mind you, big enough to cut down and use elsewhere, so a possibility.

Re: Newbie Q - Frame Support
@prospero
@JustinTime
Thanks for your input.
I'll take a look at the R&H solution.
Otherwise current thinking is to build a simple inner frame, with vertical supports to add the support for hanging and preventing sagging.
Appreciate the forum support - great resource!

Re: Newbie Q - Frame Support
Thanks for the reply Jonathan.
I had found PW219 - but I only have 10mm of space at the back of the frame.
But it's given me some ideas for a solution!
Regards

Newbie Q - Frame Support
Hi All, We have a 'simple' job - it's for staff so a good opportunity for us to practise as we are new to the framing game... We are framing a large world map poster - 1020x1380mm. Cheap commercially produced print so no conservation concerns - easily replaceable. Purely being framed for cosmetic pu...

Just wondering whether you ever located a manual?
I have the same machine, but can't find a manual for it anywhere...
Thanks
