Re: Underpinning narrow float moulding

Ahhhh.... I know where I've gone wrong. Because it was a sample I was doing I didn't glue it as I normally do. Thank you!

Underpinning narrow float moulding

I have a float moulding with a narrow face and deep rebate. The foot of my trusty CS88 isn't sufficient to hold the narrow moulding in place to be underpinned. Any suggestions would be welcome please (is this when I would use a band clamp)? Thank you.

Re: Filling of Corner Join

many thanks for replies. I ordered some Rub and Buff yesterday so all good to go. The frame in question really was a difficult one to work with... I think I need to stick with simpler designs from now on!

Filling of Corner Join

I'm after a bit of advice please. I have a moulding (which has been a bit of a mare)... one corner a tiny bit open and which I would like to fill. I would say there are three colours - antique and 'ordinary' gold and a sort of dark grey gold. (It's one of Larson Juhls' fancy frames). I am trying to ...

Ornate gold moulding for canvas minatures

Good evening

Could anyone point me in the direction of canvas/tray mouldings for canvas minatures. I have three to frame and he's keen on ornate, gold mouldings. I have found a couple of plain canvas mouldings in the Lion catalogue but need some more ornate ones. Many thanks. :D

That's great, many thanks for this. I also love your idea of fellow artisans handing out your leaflets from their market stalls; a great idea!

Labels for back of frames

Good morning! Can anyone recommend a professional but fairly priced company who deal with back of frame labels? (I guess I would be looking for recycled/kraft type labels). Also, what detail do peeps tend to put on the label? I know I could do my own but I would be looking for something a little mor...

Re: PRICING SOFTWARE ESTLITE

Many thanks for Bbest replies. Is it simple to use? I really am not looking for an all singing, all dancing package. I just want to keep it simple.. as long as it can calculate each work ticket (and I'm guessing it will take both Wessex and Lion detail). I know I can update to Estlite from Bbest if ...

PRICING SOFTWARE ESTLITE

Hi there

Can anyone please tell me the marked differences between Estlite and BBest? - I am looking for a simple package but understand they're both relatively simple to use. As far as I can tell, most people use Estlite.

Thank you and wishing you all a peaceful Yultide holiday.
