Scratch the corner with a blade. the coating scratches off.

Advice please

A customer wants to frame a piece 250cm x106cm. Would it need to be 3mm glass. Would it be too heavy. or should I suggest acrylic. if so which one.

Heavy mirrors to hang

I’m framing some heavy mirrors. One is 1300 x1300 4mm as they have polished edges. Framed floating in a tray frame with sub frame and 6mm mdf. It will be heavy. what will be the best way to hang.

Moat frame

I have a customer that wants a moat frame. I've seen one but have no idea how to make one. any advice would be appreciated. the picture is 6"x 9" I also have no idea how to price it.

Storing moulding

Is it best to store upright or flat. In my heated workshop it's flat but I have another small cold but dry room where it can store upright. I'm hopeing to start th new year tidy

I'm making two floting mirrors using a tray frame with a sub frame topped with mdf.the mirrors are 4mm with polished edges 1800 x600 & 1000 x 1000. what is the strongest mirror adhesive. Thanks

Ive had it in my workshop for a few months, the customer has just moved and now has room for it, I wish I hadn't taken it on, the posters in the series are printed on crappy paper and were probably meant to be pasted on billboards !

I'm using a big square moulding from Simons pheo range, ive looked at most options, glass, acrylic. dry mounting, I was going to back it with foam board but its not big enough, I cant think what to do,

I'm framing some medals. The customer wants conservation glass. How can I stop them swinging and scratching the coating on the inside of the glass. Would a blob of silicon damage the medals ?

I've had my EH for about seven years, It had its first service and oil change this week (how was I to know how often it needs doing ) Morso is fit and well, cost me £250 including engineer traveling time, Well worth investing in an EH, knees, hips and backs are worth looking after !
