Re: How the hell do I do this?

... really appreciate the response. I’ve ended up with polecore and wooden ones. Quite frankly I don’t know which to pick, I’m getting them from lion, mainline and Centrado. Are there easier ones to use as I could focus on selling those first maybe, is wood easier than polecore? On the small thin wooden ...

Re: New Member from the new forest

... they do also offer a van delivery service. https://www.wessexpictures.com/bournemouth_branch.html Lion no longer offer a blade sharpening service. Mainline Mouldings do ours and they collect them and deliver them back via Royal Mail - all arranged online. https://mainlinemouldings.com/index.php?DepartmentID=13

Re: Chevron question

Have a look at Lion, Mainline, Larson Juhl to name a few. I try and stick to suppliers that offer chop and single lengths, to keep stock down. Lion offer a great range of what I call everyday mouldings (I can sell them everyday!). LJ ...

Re: Blade sharpening

We use Mainline’s blade sharpening service. I once used a local company and their prices were very low, the reason for the cheapness soon became apparent.

Re: Which Moulding Supplier Do You Use and Recommend?

There are plenty of suppliers out there (Nielsen Design, Larsen Juhl, Centrado, Lion, Flagship Framing, Mainline, Rose and Hollis, Wessex, Simons). I know that Centrado and Wessex use their own vans and there is a distinct advantage to that over the general carriers. In no ...

Re: Which Moulding Supplier Do You Use and Recommend?

I get 90% of my mouldings and board products from Centrado. I like the van delivery rather than the pot luck of couriers.

I also use Larson juhl, Lion and Mainline.

You should be able to ask Dr Google for the web addresses of all these

Hi. Does anyone know where I can get some of this moulding. I only need two lengths.

It’s Simons URBN 03 or Mainline 5030234 both say it’s out of stock and discontinued.
I look forward to hearing from you.

... may be a way of reducing cash flow committments and keeping suppliers in good financial shape. I don't suppose that they will have the exact same mouldings, but you may find mouldings that are ...

Large canvas with scrawny margins

... wondering if I should let someone else suffer the job. Any opinions please? I've been looking at stretcher bars that are wide and shallow, such as Mainline STR-5520, so the 20mm depth leaves me with something to tug on for that desireable tidy wrap finish.
