Sometimes framers can get a little too picky........ Very true. :D If we are conscientious and take pride in our work it sometimes results in agonising over small details that your average Mr/Mrs. Public would never notice. Many is the time I have scrapped a mount or a frame because of a 'niggly' b...

It's a well known fact that car maunufacturers make most of their profits from spares, not new cars. And has anyone noticed that original parts in a car last for years and replacement parts last for about 5 mins. I got a new battery about 18 months ago. It replaced the original one, about 6 years ol...

Know wotcha mean. :? It's amazing what gets into frames over the years. When it comes to getting old tape off, an offcut of glass works a treat. Find a bit with a sharp edge and you can literally pane it off dry, which avoids all the ickyness associated with soaking it. Also works well at removing t...

Hi and Welcome house frames.
Don't think I have ever seen frames such as you describe. Ivory, maybe.....
That's not to say they don't exist....somewhere.
If all else fails I'm sure these people would make them for you. At a price....

It is a pity that the only people who suffer in these situations are the unfortunate employees and the artist herself. If the company (limited no doubt) is in receivership then not much hope of financial compensation. The bosses who did the nasty tricks will probably wait until the dust settles and ...
