Re: Discount for 10 of the same.
There's something to be said for Mark's viewpoint and I guess it is about how you are set up and whether doing multiples is something you want to encourage or not. We regularly do runs of 20 or so the same, mainly luckily with that type of customer fitting the work themselves, so very happy to do th...

Re: Art Business Today - April 2014.
Have you asked the Guild if they have a copy you could purchase? There were a load of back copies at the Guild event at the weekend, if only we'd known we could have picked one up for you

Re: Compressor issues - advice please
We had exactly the same problems years ago, but solved it by getting an oil free compressor when we got the CMC. Oil free might be the easiest and cheapest way to go in the long run.

Re: FATG Educational Programme
I mentioned that the Guild was to set up a dedicated CPD Forum on its web-site. This has gone live this lunchtime, it is open to all and we would welcome your thoughts on the CPD programme I think from what was said above that it's open to anyone but you have to register to comment. Can't check for...

Re: FATG Educational Programme
As one of the Guild's newest GCFs (along with hubby Trigger) we are really pleased to see the way the Guild is expanding the educational programme with CPD. We have also done the survey and hope that the talks with the City & Guilds progress well.

Re: Float glass v Waterwhite float glass
We swapped to it as our default glass shortly after Wessex started offering it. We find it gets a very positive response because we have a display showing normal float and water white float over a piece of white mountboard. Hardly anyone asks for the cheaper option of standard float. It also means t...

Re: What moulding can I use?
Carriage charge depends on how parcels there are, but usually around £7.95 plus VAT and there is no carriage free, all carriage is charged at cost according to their catalogue. Not sure if they have a minimum order value or not, we've not encountered one yet and there is no mention of one. A254 is 1...

Re: What moulding can I use?
Try A257 obeche from Rose and Hollis. Should be the sort of thing you are after. They have 3 sizes of this shape and I'm quoting the number from memory so might be slightly out. Would love to show a link to their website  but you will have to make do with requesting their catalogue by post if y...

That looks like the little suction cup thing that you attach to a halogen bulb so that you can then change it without touching it with your fingers. That's my guess anyway
