cold laminator advice

hi all

I'm thinking of buying a manual laminator, i've seen some on ebay but unsure of their quality.
are there better models,
also what is a good width size?

the best way would be to get some green oak and let it season in a warm
place, trouble is it may move too much. i used to turn green wood the dried
bowl sometimes ended up oval! oak moves a lot when drying. when it is dry
it could be machined into a moulding, good luck with it!

yes the thought of sending it gives me visions of broken glass,making claims etc.Ive never done it before, someone wants a box frame sending, my inital thought was 'come and get it' then thicker glass/acrylic. the thought of 2mm glass through the post! Im sure it is done though by the online people ...

Ive never sent a picture through the post with the glass being broken,Ive thought

I tend to use titebond if I need a strong joint.I had a guitar which snapped at the 'nut' near the pegs of the guitar, at a 45 degree angle. I spoke to a luthier about what to do, as I thought of a new neck,or biscuit joints etc. I glued it with titebond and clamped it.you could barely see the join....

If customers see you doing their work its adds to everything really.I used to do craft fairs many years
ago .When a stallholder made their wres in front of the public,there was far more interest and sales too
