Re: Futura not cutting straight

Hi Mark - Hope your well!
Would 'flex' in the baseboard and / or - the work top, also cause a slight 'hook' or 'bend' in the cut - usually in a corner?
Kind regards

Re: Knee Playing Up

Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for your message. Im not too far behind you at 60! I will look at upgrading to pneumatic machines. but I not sure I want to invest any more into the workshop at my age. I didn't know you had a stroke - wish you a speedy recovery, take it easy , stay safe. Kind regards

Re: Cassese 88 adjustment

Hello Mark - you were absolutely right - the nylon runners were completely worn out on one side - I slacked off the grub screw turned the nylons around to the unworn side and it’s perfect now. Thank you

'Canvas' stretching

Hi all. A customer has bought in a canvas for stretching. Its not really a canvas though more like a bed sheet - really thin cloth. The painting on it is in acrylic and in places really thick. It measures 1m sq. I advised the customer that stretching may possibly tear it, and that any cracks in the ...

Free industrial work benches

Hello all. The previous occupant of my framing workshop left a few heavy duty custom made metal benches. Ive made use of a few by sanding / painting and fitting a new ply work tops. Theres three left over which I don't need - seems a shame to scrap them. Measurements are: 67cm x 300cm x 92cm tall - ...

Morning All. Thank you all for your comments, opinions & advice. Much appreciated. Its not often that I turn work away, but when I do its usually because the end result my customers wants, coupled with the budget they have in mind, is un-realistic. Strangely though i tend to feel guilty afterwar...
