Also have a plan chest via local paper for £80 which is handy for hiding untidy tools etc and also for storing art work before framed

Slatwall with sheets of mdf in between are good and you can adjust the section sizes. Sheets of mdf cost quite a bit from B&Q but worked out cheaper than the premade racks. PS the only thing I wonder is the accuracy down to the last mm as the scale is divided into what looks like 2.5mm breaks....should this be an issue?

How do you all transport finished frames?

I see that Lion do "Frame Transit Boxes" (page 125 items 6233/6234/6235). Are these any good? They look fairly useful or do some of you hav a DIY version of your own?

I went with my (beginner) but hopefully good instincts and went with the T hinge

It cost £3 and they have other issues the same. I don't think it matters that it is not reversible.
Having said that, I am happier doing T hinges as I have not used spray adhesive before and if I make an error applying or using it I don't get a second chance!!
