Re: Restore / Repair Very Old Frames?

I'm just giving them the contact details and keeping out of it - no idea what budget they have in mind! Not much point me getting involved as well, just said I'd ask around as a favour to my friend who works at the school.

Re: Restore / Repair Very Old Frames?

I think they are quite keen to preserve the original frames due to their age and history.

I think they probably need someone like this! http://ruth-tappin.co.uk/picture-frame-restoration.

Restore / Repair Very Old Frames?

Hello, Had a friend ask if I can restore some very very old ornate frames for a school, but that definitely doesn't fall within my skill range. Does anyone on here do that sort of thing or can recommend anyone please? She has sent me one quick phone photo to give you an idea of what is required! Any...

Rounding Prices

Can the prices in EstLite be rounded to make nicer numbers? I thought I had done this once before as all my prices come to the nearest 10p but now I can't find the setting (if there is one!) - I thought I might round to the nearest £1 instead. Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Pet hates

Ha ha, know what you mean about long sleeves, luckily some ladies jumpers are available with 3/4 sleeves which are brilliant! My husband bought a pair of sleeve garters for a Peaky Blinders party that will probably never be used again - shall I post them on?!! Or just this pile of elastic bands that...

Re: Pet hates

My current pet hate as I have had a bit of an influx over the last couple of weeks, is the dirt brought in on pictures that people want re-framing. Inch thick dust, cobwebs, spiders (dead and alive) and my personal favourite - cat sick. I would be embarrassed to take something to a shop in that stat...

Re: Arqadia / Larson Juhl Price List

Ahhh, that lightbulb moment! Just realised there was a newer version of EstLite available, and now I've installed that it's all working and I have found Larson Juhl! :D

Re: Arqadia / Larson Juhl Price List

I am not seeing the Larson Juhl option and when I click 'Download List of Suppliers' it tells me EstLite does not have internet access?! It suggests it may be being blocked by a Firewall but I have just checked this and it is allowed, so I'm a bit baffled.

Arqadia / Larson Juhl Price List

Hello! It occurred to me that I am still typing the prefix aq for Arqadia/LJ mouldings, but then realised the downloaded price list is still prefixed with aq too. Will it be changing to LJ at any point to confuse me?!

Re: Check your Arqadia invoices for Carriage Charges.

I've just had an over £60 chop order with carriage added, emailed them back and they are crediting it back to me. Annoying having to keep checking invoices though because LJ STILL haven't sorted out the bugs in the system.

Child Friendly?

Out for a stroll along Cromford Canal last Sunday, and saw this sign in the old railway carriages at High Peak Junction - would it be wrong to have a copy in my shop?!

Re: larson juhl samples warning

I have had a reply from LJ - their system is not registering that samples are FOC carriage and they have removed the charge for me. If you've been charged you'd better contact them for a refund!

Re: larson juhl samples warning

I've just noticed that I have a pending delivery of two small samples with an invoice for £7.20 carriage. Hoping it's just another thing they are getting wrong but have emailed to ask, and told them to cancel it if they are charging!

Re: Morso not required!

I had a frame that looked like the third one brought into me last year for re-framing. Poly moulding hanging above the fireplace, the customer had lit a candle on the mantelpiece underneath it....

Re: Arqadia L/J web ordering.... anyone out there got a clue

Things might be getting a bit better, I placed a chop order late on Monday and it has just been delivered (Thursday)! No invoices yet for either of the orders I have placed this year though. Will they lose them too?

Re: Arqadia L/J web ordering.... anyone out there got a clue

I've just had a reply... We have a new system in place and are having technical issues which have severely delayed orders for all customers. Your order is being worked on, however due to the problems we are having, we are unable to track its progress and therefore cannot give a definite date of when...

Re: Arqadia L/J web ordering.... anyone out there got a clue

The website didn't work for me when I returned to work in the New Year, but I didn't need anything straight away. I received that email too which implied issues have been sorted so I placed a chop order on the 9th January. It is still showing as 'not shipped' so I've just dropped them an email to se...

Looking for stock of Arqadia Moulding!

A quick Christmassy desperate plea please! Has anybody in the Midlands/Birmingham/Leicester area got any stock of Arqadia's 202167348 going spare? I need 4 lengths, around 12m to complete a job wanted for Christmas and Arqadia are out of stock until January according to their website. Having a 'what...

Anyone made a frame like this before?

Hello, I have a customer who has just bought a large photo back from Australia, and he saw it framed out there and wants to match it. I suspect it is beyond my equipment and skill set, unless anyone can point me in an easy direction? And if I can't do it, I'm happy to pass on the details of someone ...
