Sunflower / vegetable oil is acidic so technically they are correct in their wording, although i don't think even framers would contemplate putting it on their Morso.

Re: MORSO lubricant,

Everyone may have their own opinion (sorry Neil) but i find it better to stick to the manufacturers recommendations: Danlist quite clearly state oil in their manual: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0900/0654/files/morso-lubricant.jpg?16000436047087928625 (and there are no bearings on a Morso) Mark

Re: CS88 help!

Hi Andrew

You have fitted the screw that retains the cartridge spring into the lower mounting holes when it needs to be mounted in the upper holes.

(Thanks for the comments)

Re: Underpinner required

Ifonly

You may want to reconsider trying to obtain a Taurus branded underpinner as since they went out of business many of the spare parts are no longer available, you may be better off buying a brand that is currently still trading.

Re: Pneumatic Morso

The Morso H is pneumatic and requires a big compressor as it use's a lot of air per cycle, you could probably just get by with a 60 litre tank if you are a low volume bespoke user but if you do a serious number of frames then 120 litre (minimum) would be required.

Re: Reasonable Price?

Careful James. Morso box spanners are made that way so you can't overtighten the bolts. You can apply a lot of wellie with a socket set and the bolts are about 15 quid each. Plus a set of easy-outs to remove the sheared bolt. No jamesnkr is correct the Morso box spanners are not made so you...

Re: cassesse cs88 or minigraff a2m?

The CS88 is by far the better of the two and will produce better quality joints due to more efficient clamping and wedge operation. In the Minigraf's favour they tend to be built from tougher materials than Cassese's which do break/jam more often. It all depends which is more important to you, sturd...
