Re: Att. Cat Owners: toxic cat food.......

We may fuss and fret about getting a mitre perfect or whatever. But remember that there are big companies who've make pet food that KILLS pets. Couldn't really get it much more wrong, could they! :Slap:

Re: Time for a break ....

I don't know whether you still look in on the forum Adam, but I hope you and your mum are keeping as well as possible. What an awful, de-humanising, depressing year it has been....I hope you and mum are coping, mate. My Mrs has been away for over 4 months (abroad), caring for her mum. I miss her so ...

Lovely bit of kit.

Hell's bells, Allan....I hope you are on the mend, mate.

You're in the right place for fantastic framing knowledge (and inane jokes from yours truly).

I hope you are getting stronger every day, fella.

See you around the boards.

That's about half the weight of my greyhound , so bloody heavy :giggle: What you will have to think about is just trying to turn it over to clean the glass, some one emailed me this week for a quote for a 140cm x 200cm picture, I declined as it's bigger than my bench :Slap: and because I'm on my ow...

Re: Old newspapers

Fascinating, yet sad object Rafe. Just a mad thought: how about framing it like it's on a news stand? What i mean is holding the newspaper in place with a sheet of that diamond-shaped metal mesh (original with old chipped paint would be ideal)? See pic below for the sort of thing I'm on about. Then ...

I'm sorry too, Mark.

Just thought the OP might take some comfort from your progress. Like you say, let's turn the focus back to the sale of some excellent equipment.

Re: complete framing work shop machinery. for sale

Mark, you are a masterclass in persistence and grit. I've never 'met' anyone online (or in the so-called real world) whom I admire more. Reading your prodigious posts on here, it's easy to forget the earthquake you had in your existence just a year ago. Just thank your lucky stars that i live nowher...

So sorry about your partner - I hope things improve as soon as possible.

I also love the recycling you did, Steven.

I too inherited some usable timber - which saved me a fair chunk of money on the stuff I had to buy.

Intrigued by the grand staircase...handy for making a dramatic entrance (or exit)!

Well done, mate (Greta approves!!).

Re: New member and would be grateful for some assitance!

Welcome, David. If I were you, I'd build my own workbench. Wickes do 3 x 2 inch (in old money) carcassing timber for about £1 a metre. Nice stuff to work with, as it has rounded edges and is pretty smooth. You may well want to put a plans chest and/or dividers underneath the bench for sheets of moun...
