Re: manufactureing and selling to shops

Hello Greenfields, The advice above is spot on - you simply cant compete with Chinese and Indonesians with big factories working 2 or 3 shifts a day with automatic cutting and joining machines. Re: Starrcorp.com

It's genuine! And its a good magazine - but geared towards the USA/Canadian distributors/framers But what may happen after 12 months is you get an invoice for the next years subscription. In larger companies it may well be paid without batting an eyelid, and then you are hooked. Smaller framers a mu...

Re: 3 WANTS - Frame / Mountboard CP17 / Metal frame 127

Liz, Give Val a call at Slater Harrison 01625 578957 They may still have some COLOURMOUNT Centura Pearl CP17 in stock. If that doesn't work, she should also be able to tell you which distribs. have bought it and might still have in their stock. Nielsen are also worth a call to get their help with th...

I visited the A'dam Art show at RAI.
And had a boat trip from Marken to Volendam and back.
And rented an electric boat from De Gouw at De Rijp - to explore Eilandspolder. Saw a lot of wild life.

Hello Odems,

Another pic from Holland. This is Eetcafe De Zeilhoek at Katwoude. Excellent for smoked eel and asparagus moose!
Yesterday I went shopping, so tonight I had maatjesharing and asperges for dinner. Delicious

Prospero and Aine,

I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering when you 2 ever get to bed. Not suggesting in the same bed!

Your posts go on almost all night long!! :o
Admire your staying power...!!

Why dont you both open a frame shop in the Azores - as you are more in their time zone than ours??

France - Yellow pages

http://www.postimage.org/aVIIlx9.jpg (Suggest you dont click to make it bigger - it goes HUGE!) This front cover of the French Yellow pages puzzles me. Why have they gone to all the trouble of making a very artificial scene, depicting a frame shop. Why not simply go into a REAL frame shop and take ...
