Re: Taking Photos Remotely from Ceiling mounted camera ?
Well if you have the camera fixed to the ceiling, you will have to climb up to switch it on, also press a button on the back of the camera to activate the wifi link to the tablet. The camera has rechargeable battery , but it's a little bit like the ones on a phone in shape , square and flat and it ...

you can link via wifi to a tablet of phone, to down load your images, plus you can control the camera from the tablet including the zoom, but it would mean climbing up each time you wanted ...

I'd also be looking to wrap round a bit less of the image than in bagpuss' picture, but that may just be me.

Taking Photos Remotely from Ceiling mounted camera ?
I asked this question a couple of years ago, when I was considering PreView, I may well still consider Preview but at the moment I just want to get a camera to mount on the ceiling again.

Re: 5 piece canvas art anyone ?
2017-11-20 10.24.14.jpg I thought I'd give you an update, I ended up going to B&Q and got some 12mm x 34mm strip wood, made a frame ( below ) and then stretched the canvas over it, it looked fine, no sign of the frame through the canvas, the customer was v pleased : )

Re: 5 piece canvas art anyone ?
ah, I have used a floater mouldings before but these canvases just need stretching, I was just after a suitable stretcher moulding that isn't too deep but has a clean edge rather than a rounded edge like some stretcher mouldings, thanks anyway.

Re: 5 piece canvas art anyone ?
Hi Alan, sorry, only just getting round to stretching these 5 canvases and just checked out L2427 ( see photo below ),
I wanted to stretch the canvases onto frames, is that what you were thinking, I've never stretched using this sort of profile before?
Have I got the wrong end of the stick ?

Re: Large Laminated World Map to stick down anyone ?
Thanks for the advice people, as I'm often told, 99% of the things I worry about never actually happen, it turned out fine after all that. Not ideal but under the circumstances and i had warned the customer that it wouldn't go down totally flat, I cut a sheet of 5mm foamcore to size and laid lengths ...

Re: HELP - mounting Linen backed Raiders poster
Well that was a heated debate  All good stuff, well here's a photo of the finished product, I actually used Neschen Filmoplast T Cloth Tape ( LION ) to attach to the Linen backing to the foamcore board, as I said, I did have to cut the mount in 2 sections as I can't cut Jumbo board but under ...

Re: HELP - mounting Linen backed Raiders poster
Thanks everyone for your advice, very much appreciated.
Roboframer, I really like what you've done, are you able to cut Jumbo size board on your Gunner/CMC ? My options were limited when the customer brought it in, I can only cut mounts in standard size ( 815 x 1125mm ) so I worked out I could only ...
