Re: printers capable of printing onto mount board

I actually had one of those and didn't realise it printed on 1.5 mm board, I had it as a photo printer, I gave it away because of how fast it went through ink, nice quantity though.

Re: wessex white core mount board

Thanks Becca and others. Looks like I am having a very similar branch experience - they don't seem to learn. I did contemplate driving up to Oldham to throttle somebody but its a 3 hour round trip so probably not. The 10 boards they delivered yesterday were, as predicted, the same as the previous t...

Re: wessex white core mount board

Daler have moved factory and a few of their boards are unavailable, perhaps this could be a factor.

Re: Rough edges on mountboard bevels

What are you using as a mat slip, concrete slabs or bricks might produce that effect, using normal mount board should yield far more than a net usage of 1 cut from a slip sheet.

Hey ed is that a crossbow you have there in your avatar and if it is are you using it to shoot "nails" into the frame to hold the backings in, if this is as I suspect what's happening then I think we may have stumbled upon your problem!

Hanson Mitre chopper for sale.

In very good condition the machine is 20 years old but has had a very easy life, the pedal rubber grip is barely worn, we have only used this machine to cut mount slips/fillets or what ever they are called, it has got the extensions, the only down side is the scale is in imperial but the rebate scal...

Re: Frame open on last joint

He has already said more than once the flat ground blades have been scrapped, he is working with new blades. Make sure behind the blades are clean and free of rust or anything else that could cause a problem. Worn linkages for moving the head in and out can cause a problem or play in the runners for...

Re: Flu jabs

It's not the flu jab that makes you feel ill, that is completely harmless, it's the visit to the doctors that does it, all that snot and mucus on the door handles and in the air, if you can get in and out without touching anything or breathing you will be fine!

It's not the work that it does it's the additional work it will bring, you will be the framer that can, you can gain extra customers that will keep coming back to you even if it isn't for the pen.
