Photo printing
My not so old, but out of warranty, desktop printer has died. So I'm looking at new options. I do occasionally get asked if I print photos, but knowing nothing about the print world, have always said no. However, I'm trying to grow the business and have noticed that A3 all in one printers that provi...

Re: MDF or Art Bak
The white glass cutting heads are no longer available. Mines a black one but the whole head slides all over the glass and it's impossible to cut mount board straight with it for the same reason. I've tried and tried to get the MDF to cut straight as well but it's always slightly out which is a probl...

MDF or Art Bak
I currently use MDF to back most of my frames and which I use my old System 4000 to cut it on. However, with the glass/board cutting head never working properly since I bought it second hand, I've been thinking about switching to Art Bak and cutting it on my CMC. Anybody else doing this?

Re: best wedges for joining polycore moulding
I've got a Cassese underpinner with clamps and find that they join fine. I use Gorilla glue, I tried others but also had problems with the joint opening a bit, but the Gorilla glue seems to work well. I only use Polcore and avoid any narrow ones as I'm concerned about joining them, but find that the...

I turn the psi down to about 40 and can then use 5mm wedges as they don't come through.

Hassle free lacing
Got an irate wife here. HELP.
She's busy lacing up some needlework and the thread keeps knotting. Anyone else out there had this problem and solved it?
Just asking as a way to save my marriage.

Re: Laminator, dry mounting question
Thanks for all of your feedback so far . I'm in the process of buying a CMC and am concerned about space in the workshop so I'll maybe leave it a while longer as I've never been asked for it, I just wondered if it was something that might generate some extra income.

Has anyone used a pneumatic morso? I've never seen one so don't know if they are better for me and my gammy knees.

Laminator, dry mounting question
Hi all. I've never really understood the purpose of laminating, vacuum presses, dry mounting, etc so have always ignored the equipment. What's the advantage of them and do I need one?

Valiani Mat Pro
Just after a bit of advice. I'm looking for a new mountcutter and, although I'd love to upgrade to a CMC, I'm only a little one man band in a small town and can't argue the case for the cost of one. However, I've been looking at the Valiani Mat Pro range from Simons and wonder if anyone has any expe...
