Re: FATG - Continuing Professional Development Clarification

I have been considering the pros and cons of becoming a GCF, but now I would have to be certified, I'm not so sure. Why? Well, whenever I hear of someone becoming 'certified', I think of men in white coats and padded rooms :giggle: Furthermore, as I don't currently live in the UK, how would I join t...

Re: scam warning

You should try putting your house on the market. I've had all sorts of lovely people contact me wishing to buy our house, sight unseen, and for more than the asking price! Even a Major in the American Army, who, having obtained cash funds in Iraq (he doesn't say how), now wishes to invest in propert...

Re: Recapturing an earlier passion

Me too Mark! Mr. T. usually buys me kitchen utensils and cookbooks for birthdays and Christmas, (he knows how to woo a girl!). I love cooking and have often thought about running a cook shop, but I just don't think it would be a profitable business. Only yesterday I bought a new, deep-sided, sauté p...

Re: Hand finishing polymer moulding

Hi Meesh

Annie Sloan should work OK, as she claims it can be applied to matte plastics, so following the chaps' preparation advice should see you on your way to using up your 17 lengths of moulding! You can also get Annie Sloan soft wax for finishing. Have fun!

Could it be one of these? http://www.packagingworld.co.uk/image/cache/data/acd0277d_clear-228x228.jpg or http://trendymods.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Acrylic-jewellery-display-stand.jpg I've always known them as jewellery trees :D Can't think what else the framer may have been referring to, but ...

Re: Dragged finishes

Your site is easy to navigate, and the images are clear and load quickly. Like Pramsay, it took me a few attempts to realise that I had to click '...
