Re: Tagging guns?
We buy tags from Morplan, we mainly use the 7mm 71306 and 11mm T tags 71312. The 11mm ones go through the shirt foam board and mount all in one go, discretely placed of course

Re: Bright white mount board
We also use Arqadia bright white, plus Alphamat whites, but when we need one a little more stark Colourmount 371 is the one we use.
Re: frame ID
Frinton also do one that is very similar http://www.frintonmouldings.com/M03029

Mark Griffiths is probably your nearest 07859 818233, also Neil Stout who is a good distance away from you but would travel 07793 709123

Re: DIY SOS Big Build Veterans Special
Nice one, that's a lot of frames.
We did some for them about 18 months ago when they were in Bury, also did some for Peter Andre's 60 minute makeover they did near us last year as well, but not nearly as many as you did.
Well done.

Re: Cutting polystyrene with Makita
80 teeth or more, negative rake and cut across fairly fast, that should do it. Cutting across slowly will melt it.
Also the quality of the moulding will have a great impact on the quality of cut.

Re: Attaching Footbal boots anyone ?
We usually use the lace holes and fix with narrow cable ties of an appropriate colour, although they aren't normally visible. Two is enough in each boot. Level the back of the board with foamcore.

Re: Tower of London Poppy to frame, anyone else ?
Yes, we've been asked to frame one as well. I also managed to order one before they all went. Had an email the other day to say they start shipping them at end of November, but could be early next year before they get them all sent out.

Re: spots on mountcard
We had same problem, it went on for quite some time. Really annoying as 9 times out of 10 you don't see the little buggers until you have cut the mount. We changed from Colourmount to Arqadia but still had the same trouble. Turns out the face papers for both are made by the same company. In the end ...
