Re: Handywrap
Cotton Gloves! Ended up with friction burns when wrapping 22 1000x1500 dibond mounted prints, before I realised that gloves would save the pain. Great for holding blue foam edges, then as said, the prints stick together. Then more wrap to hold the bubble in place. No nasty tape to grip onto the surf...

Re: Camera stand flummox
That sounds like a magic arm - two sections of aluminium joined by a central joint, with two small ball and socket heats (with standard sized spiggots) at each end. The beauty is that they are all locked by a single central lever or bolt. Brands include Bogen and Manfrotto (the same company really) ...

Re: Design room and workshop lighting
As someone who prints photographic exhibitions for a living, my input would be to buy lamps with the best possible colour rendition. For my work rooms, I have GTI graphiclite 100 color viewing lamps, which when used with their balast units give an excellent colour matching light source. Why is this ...

Re: Jetmounter
Brief intro - I print and mount photographic exhibitions, and use a JM44 as well as a five foot hot press on a daily basis. My order of priority would be: 1 Go to Bristol and see how to use the machine 2 Stick Steve's mobile number in your phone - He's very good at helping out when all seems to be g...
