I was told that using hangers on valuable plates is a no no, (cannot find the article at present)

Are the plates completely flat or more like a shallow dishes? Melinex strips passed through the mount board back and fixed at the back if they are flat, if dish shaped cut a circle in the mount for the dish to sit into to stop it slipping, the melinex then only has to hold the dish in place. does th...

Use Mylar for anything that requires attaching, Books, Large double spread magazines, flutes from WW1 in fact one of the best investments was buying a large roll. At the time it was expensive but so many uses especially encapsulating

Could always put a sliver of 1.5" wide plastic pipe under the baize/felt and cover the ball in that wedding stuff call crewel? I think and anchor through the board, don't even see the crewel unless you look very very closely.

I have goged it and searched high and lo, for the colours / scheme for the 2nd Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment from WW1.
