Hi Guys, Hugh, yes you are right about deep mouldings, but I suppose that they make them to the max size to be cut and joined by equipment that most framers have. Áine, I get my Black foamcore from Lion, never had a problem with the surface paper coming off. John, I cut these with an hacksaw, as you...

Hi Ormond, You can buy the 10mm angle in B&Q in 1 & 2 metre lengths, they were cut to size and just stuck on to the edges of the frame. The foamcore dose not come into contact with the shirts in any way, have a look at the drawing below, hope it explains the construction, should have posted ...

Hi Áine,
No fixings as the design is to stand, so I think they are not frames anymore, but display cases :) oops! I'm in the wrong forum!

Thanks for the feedback, the perlongs were no problem, and the customer has not seen them yet! I finshed them on Thursday before Christmas and gave him a ring, told him they were ready and we would be closing at 12noon on Saturday the 22nd, he hasn't been in, mind you we are closed until Wed 2nd, so...

Hi Guys. Just thought I would update you on the Spatial framing for the two tee-shirts, as you might remember, my customer wanted to see both sides of the shirts, I asked you for ideals, well at long last I have got around to making them. I wanted to make them look like flight cases, as it would giv...

Hi FYG If you are painting your own canvas with oils, as you know they take a long time to dry and cure. If you frame them when they are wet, if at any time the frame needs to be taken off, you could find that the frame is stuck to the painting. You can line the rebate of the frame with tape to stop...

Hi Guys The only Limited Edition Prints we see rise in value are the likes of Bansky, which sell for a lot on Ebay. We have customers coming in with a print that they have had for a while and say "This is worth £7,000, seen it sell on Ebay, only paid £80.00 two years ago" Little do they re...

Hi Guys, We do printing on Epson 40 inch wide printer ( dont ask me the model no) as to colour management, you can have the best system set up, but it's really down to the customer, if they do not have any colour management i.e. calibrated monitor, you can still get unpredictable results, with the c...

Hi Deeppictureman, What you need to do is cut 4 bits of mounts to total size of the finshed glass size. Starting from the bottom of the pile is a ( A )mount that has no windows ( this is the backing) next mount ( B ) up cut two windows, one for the LP and the other for the sleeve, BUT the size of th...
