Re: Keeping warm in the workshop, while conserving heating.

I keep my galleries normal room temperature for other reasons thany personal comfort, but that asside, I also go fossil hunting and walking on very windy and cold coastal areas for fun :) I have a heated body warmer that keeps me toasty while I am out and about the battery lasts quite a while and I ...

Re: Part required for Dry Roller

Many machines use generic motors, if you can find a part number on the motor, you might find that there are available from electoral parts outlets like from here

Re: Dehumidifier

We have ours drain into a large builders bucket with a bilge pump in it, once the bucket fills to a certain level the pump kicks in and empties the bucket into the outside drain.

Re: Extra thick mountboard

Yeah, we use a courier who collects from the shop, customers know these are made up as required so can take up to a week.
Most galleries we supply get their orders between 3 and 7 days but it does depend on how busy things are.

Re: Extra thick mountboard

I don't know, but there is not much call for thicker mountboard in my town. Things which look to modern are not usually what people like around here. Anything which was popular in the 1950's is still popular around here. I''ve never been able to figure it out. Exeter is only 15 to 20 miles away and...

Re: Fine Art Printing

There's a pricing form in my website, put in the size of print in mm and pick the paper, hit generate and it will give you the price including VAT. We use the latest Epson printers with 200 to 400 years light-fast inks and our fine art paper is 100% cotton at 300 GSM. https://www.inframegallery.com/...

I got one, the same one you just ordered, I mainly got it to familiarise myself with the software, as I believe this will be much bigger and better in the future, I have used it to print things for the house and my kids, some covers for my CMC heads and some clamp ends for my 939 saw which actually ...

Re: Touch up Markers

That sounds promising. There is a commercial stationers in Devon, which can supply these so I am thinking that I will get some to try, when I can get back to working in my shop. This sounds like it could work very nicely, with some lengths of moulding which I am planning to stain as whole lengths a...

I just purchased a 3D printer mainly a toy for me to play with, but I did think object clips or cradles would be something that could be designed and printed.

Re: Small ready made frames.

Neilson sell some nice ready made frames, not sure on the price though.

We also do not have time to fanny around with off cuts, it is more cost effective for us to bin them, time is money.

We use grey and blue for most stuff, the extra angle on the blue head makes the mat board look thicker!
