morso blade guard

The morso I recently bought doesn't have a blade guard,Ive done a google etc search
re fitting a guard.there is little info on the subject I don't see how one could be fitted without drilling or large
amounts of gaffer tape-not very pretty! anyone have any advice?

morso teething problems

I recently bought a morso guillotine, I'm having a few head scratchers
when I release the pedal the moulding at times lifts with the blades
is this normal? I thought of a bit of wd40 on the blades?
also cant make sense of the measuring scale any advice most welcome?

artwork/glass

Is it bad practice for artwork to touch the glass in the frame? I'm asking
because as I mooch about charity shops I see lots of professionally framed
work with artwork against the glass. surely it is bad practice?
are there situations where it is acceptable?
