I'm interested in joining but would like to know more about the CPF and any other qualifications that might be on offer . I understand this won't be happening immediately, but how will one take this exam if based in the UK?

I'd suggest that you get a spray booth with extraction if you can find one to fit, or you could make your own. A big fan pulling through a paper filter would work equally well.
