Re: How to stick?

Its not multi aperture its approx 30 bits of paper/card which have been cut to irregular shapes out of letters/cards. These are to be floated on to mount card with a small space between and then the board there fixed on will have a mount. I would normally float these with a hidden T hinge from p7-70...

How to stick?

A customer has asked me to frame a selection of thank you notes. All on various quality of papers from card to thin, almost translucent, copy paper. They are to be arranged and floated on a mount card with a mount to hold them away from the glass. It will then be framed with UV filter glass to stop ...

Re: Laminate Materials

There really isn't anything thinner around unfortunately - but if the demand was there we could look into it for you. On a more positive note, if you warm the canvas back up again (by resting it on top of a warm press) it will stretch easier than if it is "stone cold". I'm not sure how ma...

Laminate Materials

Hi We print lots of canvas to be stretched and a varnish is often requested. Applying varnish by brush or spray is a pain and leads to a higher number of rejects than I'm happy with. We have been laminating the canvas's with a heat seal laminate which is very succesful but does make it that bit thic...

Re: Bristol this weekend - anyone????

Just wondered if anyone on the Forum has any plans to go to the, dare I say it, FATG dinner in Bristol this weekend?? I've always thought if the FATG spent as much time and effort on PR as they do on their awards evening then the genral public might have some idea who they are and what they stand f...

A colograph is a sort of imprint of a collage, IOW a collage in relief. It's supposed to be lumpy.
I think a colograph can be printed either as intaglio or relief

I agree with NYAF, however in this case it was a thread about misleading links - quite the rage if the media is to be believed I personally didn't find this link particulary offensive but then I'm not a women - You can easily see a lot risky images in the papers and on tv- but I do respect Aine's vi...

Sorry about the psi I'm afraid i was too lazy to check

But if its leaking from the main body of the I would have a word with your supplier as it sounds as if the gun arrived with a faulty seal.

What pressure are you running the compressor at?

most of these guns have a maximum psi of about 120(i think!)

If your running to high it could be causing a seal to fail.

Airtools latest... I :!: One problem I can't suss out a solution to is that the Tabmaster 4 is hissing. I've got PTFE tape around the male quick-release adapter, and the female quick release coupler on the air line doesn't hiss when connected to the Omer stapler. I'd really appreciate some advice o...
