Re: Close gallery and use as a framing showroom?

Too many people take so long thinking about the changes they are going to make that before you know it years have passed and they haven't actually made any progress at all and it's very easy in business to get stuck in the rut of the everyday and not step back and take a good look at your business....

Re: Framing Large Silk Art anyone ?

As always, thank you very much for taking the time to give me your thoughts on how to do this, it's still in the drawer and I am still ruminating but I'll post an update when I've done it, maybe a while yet ... :Slap:

Re: BAMBI HT24-2P COMPRESSOR FOR SALE

Graham, I've already got a JunAir silent compressor and it is quiet, this is ' low noise', would you describe it as silent ?
Also, what have you been using it for ?
Thanks,
Adam

Framing Large Silk Art anyone ?

Hi, A customer has brought in a large piece of Silk Art which his Daughter made , it's a lovely colourful piece and he would like it framed. The only problem I have with it is the length of it.. 158cm x 44cm ( see photo below). I would prefer to have a mount around it, I only carry standard size boa...

Framing a large laminated map anyone ?

In the past I have framed Ordinance Survey maps, they have been on paper and I have been able to mount them on adhesive board (too big for my Hotpress) A couple of days ago a customer brought a large map in, see photo below, it is 120cm x 150cm but already laminated as you can see. How would I stick...

Re: Football Shirt, shorts and socks anyone ?

I think socks is a bit much as well but the customer is dropping off the kit tomorrow, I'll try and make a suggestion. Sadly, this is for the family of a young professional footballer who died recently and they want a couple of frames on display at the service, very sad.

Re: How much do you spend on advertising?

Word of mouth and recognizing the advantages of doing free charity frames. I love your website Mr Grapes, about 50% of my work is football shirts, not quite as creative as your designs but the customers seem to like them in my neck of the woods.:D You obviously get a lot of requests from charities ...

I am Michelle, very pleased with Office 365 indeed, great price (about £60 / year) and no problems running it with EstLite on my PC that runs Windows 7 :D
