Gold Gilt frame - how to clean ?

I've been asked by a customer who has an ornate Gold gilt frame with a mirror, she wants to clean it, the best I could suggest was some light brushing with an old toothbrush and some cotton wool. Is there a better way which won't be too abbrasive ?
Thanks in advance,

A silly question ? Do oil paintings fade ?

I have a customer who wanted a non-reflective glass over his oil on canvas on board, I thought this would be fine as it was a lovely oil painting of a gorilla that he had commissioned. I then mentioned a museum glass that would give him UV protection as well a reflection control, I was just about to...

It's a piece of pish to use as well, before I moved to Estlite I used pricing software that I had ...

Re: Taking Photos Remotely from Ceiling mounted camera ?

Well if you have the camera fixed to the ceiling, you will have to climb up to switch it on, also press a button on the back of the camera to activate the wifi link to the tablet. The camera has rechargeable battery , but it's a little bit like the ones on a phone in shape , square and flat and it ...
