Pine does do that it was the same when running through the moulder/planer spent more time cleaning cutters and blocks than running the profile we could make something in Tulip Tulip has the least of the timbers in de gassing/acid migration and is very stable- not too expensive either A bit more than...

using mdf might be an issue from an acid migration point of view

it is highly acidic and could stain the canvas later on
I do agree with prospero that it would be quite bendy so an extra centre support would help that but could add to the time you may save

Take a look in lion catalogue page 51
they sell scoring tools but you could get the scoring blades for a Stanley knife

we have had our scoring tool for years, always a handy thing to have around

I have a Cassese double mitre saw and the left hand saw blade sticks after the cut, including the compressed air fed pads to hold the moulding, and the blade doesn't return until you switch off all power Has anyone had this before and solved it or does anyone know of a service company to give it an ...

it may be Rose and hollis A160
I would say it's an obeche moulding with a black stain and wax
Try a brown wax over a black stain
gives a bit more warmth to the finish

Hi There applying gesso by brush will always fall and clog up detail so getting an even coating is very difficult. As Jerome mentions you can use different shaped pieces of metal to re shape the profile and the old age woodcarvers wood sometimes have frames back to them to re-carve. If not, sandpape...

if lion let you down and cannot fix a date when it will be in, send me a piece and we will see if we can make some, will have to make one whole frame but would be glad to help and get customer happy

it would be a raw wood section that needs finishing
