Re: Merging Duplicate Customers?

THE SMALL PRINT EstLite has a bunch of additional features, they are hidden from view because of their potential to cause damage to your data. Please understand that these features are undocumented and unsupported - use them at your own risk. Before going any further, backup your data and note where...

Re: Estlite Query

How to revert to original EstLite settings while retaining your Customers and Jobs The phrase "a bit of a technophobe" means different things to different people, so I'm going to just outline the steps and if there is anything here that you are unsure about then please go no further. Do a...

Re: Estlite Query

Yes Jay. Just uninstall the program and re-install. However, if you also wish to retain your Customer and Job data, then we would be in uncharted waters as this has never been requested before and I've never had the need to do it myself. But I think it should be easy enough, and if you don't mind be...

Re: Estlite Query

Hi David, You are right, in order not to be starting out with a completely “blank canvas”, the program comes pre-loaded with settings that yield industry average prices. Many users make few changes if any to the out-of-the-box settings. However, I recommend that you should examine the prices that Es...

Backup the EstLite date and send me the resulting zip file. It might help me to figure out what is going on.

Re: Updating Estlite

If we can get access to the R&H spreadsheet there should be no problem incorporating their moulding list within the EstLite system.
I'll look into it.

Re: What did you get (or give)?

A Raspberry Pi computer, which I have earmarked for a couple of tasks.
1. Act as a filter for some some of the more annoying and non-relevant ads.
2. Amalgamate shop and home networks into a super-network. I've never really been satisfied with previous attempts at this.

Sorry, you did ask!

Re: Suggestion

Many thanks for your useful feedback, Jo. The Latest version of EstLite (9.02) has now replaced the Uncollected Jobs radio button on the History screen, with the more useful Jobs Ready For Collection which lists only jobs that have been marked as complete. Also, you can print the list (on either pap...

Re: Suggestion

Great suggestion, Jo. Got me thinking that perhaps the Uncollected filter should display only jobs that are complete and uncollected. Is there really any need for a list that includes jobs that are uncollected because they are not yet ready for collection? Should we replace the Uncollected list, wit...

Re: Bbest not connecting to net for suppliers list

Are you are using the current BBEst version?

If so, then the most likely culprit will be an anti-virus application that is blocking BBEst's internet access.

Re: Rounding Prices

Hi Jo EstLite automatically rounds up to an even 10p I've never felt the need to have the program round to whole pounds. At Scenes we always charge only the whole pound part of the total price and ignore the pence, I think that, small as discount may be,it kind of puts us in a positive light in the ...

Re: Smart cmc not being recognised by smart software on laptop

I've had mixed results with usb/serial adaptors. Some hardware can be a bit picky with port number, baud rate, and handshake protocols, but the port can be configured to work eventually. However, I have had hardware (till toll printer) that refuses to work with a usb/serial adaptor, while working pe...
