Big long X stitch

Post by Roboframer »

I've framed this same x stitch a couple of times but the others must have been on a higher count fabric or had less penguins! I didn't take the order and would probably not have suggested a 60 inch (well, a fraction under) long double mount - probably more fabric showing and a rebate spacer. Still, the only glass we stock that size is true color, which we managed to sell on this, which was nice.

It's stretched on to triple-thickness mount board - laced the short way and pinned the long way.

Don't tell me...... A low flying jet fighter went over and the frame tipped up.

..... and an extra penguin tried to sneak in when it was being stretched.
