3 phase morso

Post by odocat »

It looks like I am moving my shop to a unit without 3 phase. Has anyone got any advise on if it is possible to convert my morso to run on single phase. I've tried two picture framing engineers. I think they are also plumbers because it is like pulling teeth trying to get them to even answer their phones. :xcomputer:

Why not get a phase converter, either static rotary or digital which converts your single phase to 3 phase. :D

Have you spoken to Neil Stout Framingengineer.com? you will obviously need to know some technical details about the power requirements of the machine go way over my head. There are plenty of suppliers of them here is one for digital converters http://www.drivesdirect.co.uk/ but I haven't got a clue about the benifits of the three different types. :D :D

If you haven’t done so already it may be worthwhile double checking…

According to our electrician, we have a three phase supply coming into our premises but just a single phase is actually hooked up.
