just looked at those numbers again

they dont make sense

Total Corners:
0339988
Total Mat Cut:
0023407

means average of 14.5 corners per mount, he he

maybe there is something else that makes it make sense

Maybe it's to do with the machine cutting the outside as well as the inside? I only get it to do both on two occasions I can think of, when the offcuts on a single mount would be no use and when the machine, due to the clamps, would produce less mounts from a board than if I cut the outsides manually.

Curves count as multiple corners.

A circle might count as 10 corners, I don't remember the exact figure.

Also some mounts will have multiple apertures.

An answer and a question:

I've just fired up my 800 and cut the following:

1) Double mount cutting just the two apertures
2) Single mount cutting inside and outside

Statistics:

Number of corners 16
Number of mats 3

(so the number of corners is correct, 8 for the double mount and 8 for the single mount)

But... why are my stats resetting every time I boot the PC?

(P.S. the "stopping mid cut" seems to have gone away after I disconnected and reconnected the media cable)

Hi Guys

I know I'm a bit late to this discussion but just to clarify your Wizard corner count:
When you look at the licence it will show you the 'Current Corners' ie the corners for the design you have ready to cut, and this will reset for each new design. However the 'Total Corners Used' and 'Total Mats Cut' will be a continuous count (or basically as long as your PC hard drive doesn't fall over!).
Each corner is counted with each blade plunge, so if you cut a rectangular opening and an outside then that is 8 plunges. Like John said there will be more corners in multi opening mounts and v grooves, stepped corners etc (ovals and circles are counted as 4 plunges.)

Hope that all makes a bit more sense.
Sam
