Valiani launches the largest CMC ever built!
Introducing the Gladius 260

The largest mat cutting machine ever produced premiered at the WCAF Las Vegas show on the 25th January. The Gladius, with a massive cutting area of 1530mm x 2650mm (60" x 104") that can handle even the largest sheets of matboard with speed and accuracy, opens new possibilities for the custom framer.

That is massive, but who makes mount board that big?

My Valiani is coming up to 4 years old, so it might be time to think about up-grading, but down-sizing the remaining workbench to 2ft by 4ft :sweating:

My Valiani cut over 500 mounts and backings today alone, It used 1 blade to cut all the backings, 1 blade to cut all the externals of the mounts and four blades for the internals.
It doesn't use the same blade to cut external and internal cuts, the external cuts are not as critical as the internal so you get much more miles from your blades, when you get the head change knack it takes 8 seconds to change it, how long does it take the gunnar to go to the top and flip the head?

In answer to IFGL's question. The F1 hybrid takes 4.46 seconds to change from 45 to 90 degrees (back again same time) The AiOX Hybrid takes 2.73 seconds. The blade usage would be about the same
