Forgot to say that if you are going to the Focus on Imaging show in Birmingham (started today) Simons are there but I am unsure whether they will have a cmc there.

Re: Distributors of CMC's in the Uk
Hi George. Have just signed up for a brand newbie Valiani CMC . We saw the Wizard 9000 in motion....a great machine with a (what we thought) very easy computer program to use.
We decided to go with the Valiani because we got a great 'trade in' with our Valiani Mat Pro, as well as a great deal through our supplier who was VERY keen not to lose our business. We
also preferred the overall Valiani package and support that was offered. (Our supplier is only about half an hour away from where we work)
Of course there are differences in the machines and their hardware and software, but I'm sure there are a lot of very happy Wizard users out there, just as there are happy Valiani users.
A fair bit of a price difference....just depends on your budget and what you think you would be happy with.

If this thread is confusing you slightly - it could be the fact that there is a 6 YEAR gap in the middle!

Sorry chaps......but you cant blaim us colonials........must have been British Telecom and their 'speedy delivery'!!
However, I have learnt that I need to go back to the original topic and check the date and not rely on the last replies.
Maybe that could be rule number 3......?????? or is that just common sense??? DONT GO THERE!!!!!

Yes thanks for pointing that out Jim!
Wasn't quite sure how the topic had suddenly reappeared after the 6 year gap - thought I must be having a bad case of 'baby brain' today!!
